What is the festival?
The 2025 Fall Festival, hosted by Mallorca BJJ and Yoga Festival, is a unique event offering immersive BJJ and yoga experiences combined with wellness activities, live entertainment, and cultural events.

Location: Gran Melia De Mar, Palma de Mallorca, Spain
Dates: October 23 - 28, 2025

Who can attend?
This is an adults-only festival for ages 18+, although teens 15-17 may attend if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No prior BJJ or yoga experience is required; all levels are welcome.

Tickets and Inclusions

What’s included with a festival stay ticket?
Accommodation: 5 nights in a single, double, or triple (master suite only) room with a sea view.
Daily Breakfast: 5-star quality buffet with vegan, vegetarian, and traditional Spanish options.
BJJ Seminars: Minimum of 5 daily 90-minute seminars and open mats.
Yoga Sessions: Around 6 classes daily with diverse instructors.
Wim Hof Method and Ice Baths: Daily sessions for immersion in this wellness method.
Freediving Seminars and SUPs: Daily seminars and access to paddle boards and snorkeling gear.
Opening and Closing Night Dinners: Spanish-themed meals with local wine, beer, sangria, lemonade, and coffee.
Evening Entertainment: Access to guest DJ performances by the pool and full hotel access.
Goodie Bag: Includes a T-shirt, water bottle, and wristband.

What is NOT included in the festival hotel ticket?
Flights and taxi transfers (approx. €30 from the airport)
Dinner on the middle three nights and all lunches
Spa access, which is available for €25 per day or complimentary with any spa treatment

Are non-stay tickets available?
Yes, non-stay tickets include access to all activities, seminars, and entertainment but exclude accommodation, breakfast, and the opening/closing dinners.

Can I choose my room?
Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The hotel has identical rooms with private balconies and sea views on all floors. Top-floor rooms offer panoramic views over the Balearic pines. Early bookings are prioritized for higher floors, though many enjoy the charm of lower rooms as well.

I’m a single guest; can I share a room to save money?
Yes, you can request a shared room option, and we will match you with a same-sex roommate if possible. If no roommate is available, you’ll have the room to yourself at no additional cost.

Can I extend my stay?
Yes, you may book extra days before or after the festival through our WeTravel page as an add-on.

Is there an installment plan for payment?

Activities and Schedule

What will a typical day look like?
Your schedule is entirely customizable. You may participate in daily seminars, yoga sessions, workshops, or take time to relax by the pool or beach. A festival app will help coordinate activities with fellow guests.

Where are the seminars held?
All seminars are on-site at the hotel. Spaces include a large BJJ Hall, outdoor yoga areas, smaller indoor yoga rooms, a terrace for open mats, shaded spots for acro yoga, and a secluded cove for freediving.

Is the festival suitable for beginners?
Yes! Both BJJ and yoga offer beginner classes, so even those new to these practices can fully participate.

How does this festival differ from a yoga retreat?
The festival offers a vibrant schedule of workshops and seminars to immerse in various practices rather than a quiet retreat. There is a mix of structured activities and personal downtime for exploration.
Food and Dining

What meals are provided?
Your ticket includes breakfast each day, as well as opening and closing night dinners on October 23 and 27. These include a range of Spanish dishes and beverages. Meals for the middle three nights and all lunches are up to you.

Are there budget-friendly dining options nearby?
Yes, the Cas Catala/San Agustin area offers a variety of affordable dining options, from local empanadas and tapas to takeaway cafes. A nearby Spar grocery also provides affordable items, and each room has a mini-fridge.
Festival Essentials

What should I bring?
Attire for BJJ or yoga beginners: For BJJ, bring shorts or yoga pants and a T-shirt (no need to buy a gi initially). For yoga, wear comfortable no-gi gear.
Weather-appropriate clothing: October temperatures reach around 22°C (73°F), with sea temperatures around 24°C (75°F). Pack a light jacket or hoodie for cooler mornings and evenings.
Yoga Mat: Feel free to bring your preferred mat, though we provide basic mats and blocks.

Is travel insurance required?
While not mandatory, travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover trip cancellations and unexpected expenses. Festival payments become non-refundable after July 20, 2024.

Can I do laundry at the festival?
Yes, a daily laundry service is available from October 24-27, with same-day returns. Prices are approximately €20 for a 14 kg bag, so sharing a bag with another guest can save on costs. All Gis are washed in cold water and air-dried.

Can I attend for less than 5 days?
Tickets are for the full 5-day experience. While you may arrive late or leave early, the full festival ticket is required.

Can I attend without staying at the festival hotel?
Yes, though staying off-site might not offer significant savings. Non-stay tickets are limited and subject to availability based on hotel capacity.

Are kids allowed?
