Commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Our event actively embraces the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, implementing social, economic, and environmental practices that aim to minimise its impact.

This commitment is reflected in concrete initiatives such as beach and nature clean-ups, the use of ecological products, collaboration with local suppliers and businesses, accessible facilities, and workshops focused on local culture. Each action is designed to create a positive legacy for the community and the environment.

The main SDGs we address include:

SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production:use of ecological products, waste reduction, and sustainable procurement.

SDG 13 – Climate Action: initiatives to reduce the event’s carbon footprint.

SDG 14 – Life Below Water: beach clean-ups and protection of coastal ecosystems.

SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth: support for local companies and creation of community opportunities.

SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities: accessible facilities and services to ensure inclusion.

SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities:integration of local culture through workshops and experiences for participants.

In this way, the event is not only about sport, culture, and entertainment, but also a platform for awareness and responsible action for the planet and society.
